The Location
You will want to arrange your travel to Cuiaba, Brazil. You will spend the night in Cuiaba and catch your flight to Alta Floresta the next morning. Your adventure begins as you fly in to the airport in Alta Floresta, a small town located in the state of Mato Grosso in the Brazilian Amazon basin. Van ride to the lodge from there.
There is now an airstrip on the property so there can be charter arrangements made as well.
