The Location

You fly from Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche ( locally known as just Bariloche).  Depending on your itinerary your lodge or rivers are anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours van ride.  It is on the boarder of Chile in teh northern section of Patagonia.  It is also easy to get to Bariloche from Santiago, Chile with daily air service as well.
