	Portofino - Ambergris Caye is located North of San Pedro, and sits on the most beautiful beach on Ambergris Caye. 	Journeys End - Ambergris Caye has been a great destination for us as it fits a lot of different groups.  It please every non fisher and every fisher as well. One of the biggest things I like is that it has great on site fishing you can do without a guide.  You can take the kayaks out through the back lagoons to some wading flats that are world class, or you can wade up the beach in front and look for tailing bonefish in the grass flats.
	The Tides - Ambergris Caye is a unique trip for budget minded travelers where we match up a fine hotel in the town of San Pedro with the best guides on the island. You get the flight to the island, great lodging, the best guides but lunch and dinner are not included in these packages because of the plentiful supply of markets, bakeries and restaurants in town.
	Caye Casa - Ambergris Caye is an assembly of 6 suites and villas that  are located  on the north side of San Pedro right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood.  From 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom units are available. Fly Fishing Belize:
In Belize we have a large number of fly fishing destinations that offer world class fly fishing for bonefish, permit and tarpon.   Belize is a special place for couples and families when some like to fly fish and others don't. Many of our resorts and lodges offer the non fly fishing guests all the amenities and activities you could expect in an exclusive Caribbean resort.    Belize has the most even mix of the big three fly fishing targets and we have more grand slams here than anywhere else in the world.  In general the further south you go the more permit you find and the less bonefish, not a hard and fast rule but reliable.

Unlike the Bahamas or Florida Belize is far enough south that even during cold fronts, the flats stay warm enough to hold fish.  Having  flats that hold tarpon, bonefish and permit year round is a very unique part of this destination and why it is one of my favorites.

Ambergris Caye, is off the Belize coast, north, near Mexico and has a very even mix of bonefish tarpon and permit. It also has the most variety of accommodations We can fix you up in the unbeatable El Pescador Lodge ( one of Belize's oldest lodge) or match you up with some of the best independent guides Belize has to offer and a resort or hotel that will match your price range and style.  One thing is for sure - the fly fishing in Belize is awesome regardless of your choice.

The Turneffe Atoll. is about 30 miles off the central mainland of Belize. This vast area of islands, flats, lagoons, reefs and mangroves make an ideal breeding ground for bonefish and permit. The tarpon however, are not as plentiful as the flats near Ambergris. With only two lodges in this huge system it is wide open. The other nice part about the atoll is there always seems to be ways to stay out of the wind. Its proximity to deeper water also lends itself to larger fish in general.

The fly fishing in the southern part of Belize is primarily known as the best permit fishing anywhere.  Add lots of opportunity for tarpon and moderate numbers of bonefish and grand slam is in the bag!!  Between Placencia and Punta Gorda are many islands, flats, lagoons, creeks  and rivers that hold fish year round.  This area has the least pressure but fewer bonefish than the northern flats of Ambergris or Turneffe.

The amazing part of Belize is the wonderful variety of activities for non fly fishing folks as well .  Each of these destinations is equally if not more popular for diving,   then snorkeling, mayan ruin tours, great white sand beaches, many of the lodges have pools, kayaks, sailboats, canoes, windsurfers, hot tubs, which makes it work for everyone.   From honeymoons to  fly fish till you drop vacations.
