Jungle Tarpon Lodge is a small lodge holding up to 12 people. It is located in the Parismina area, on the edge of Tortuguero National Park. This is further south than some of the better known lodges around the Rio Colorado. There are more smaller lesser know rivers in our area that are better suited to a fly rod. Being smack in the middle of jungle/eco-tourism paradise we can also entertain the non fishing member(s) of your family with numerous types of jungle, bird and turtle nesting tours. |

Golfito Sailfish Rancho is the best place to fish for billfish on a fly, it is not that some of our captains like to fly fish - all of them do. The boats were chosen with this in mind - slightly smaller so less people on board, easily maneuverable, the perfect machine for the purpose of fly fishing for sailfish and marlin. We are also small so you won't be heading out with 20 other boats each day, personal attention is key. |

Costa de Cocos - Xcalak is a fishing lodge on the beach just north of the town of Xcalak that has been operating for the last 9 years. The lodge can accept up to 10 anglers a week as they have 5 staff guides and boats. The lodge also includes a small fly shop with spare rods and reels, and a full restaurant, and bar ( all drinks are included in our fishing package). Rio Lagartos - Tarpon is part of a National Park that holds huge populations of baby tarpon 2-50 pounds. It is located on the northern coast of the Yucatan facing the Gulf of Mexico about 3 hours from Cancun. Good clean accommodations are paired with the best guides in the preserve. You might look for some of the bigger fish out in the open flats or if it is a bit windy you will head directly into the sheltered ares of the Rio Lagartos preserve. |

Campeche - Tarpon is a beautiful colonial city located on the northwestern side of the Yucatan Peninsula. This gorgeous, unique and picturesque baroque city was designated a United Nations' World Cultural Heritage for Humanity (UNESCO) site in 1999. The fishing for baby tarpon, however, is the perhaps the greatest thing about Campeche and the surrounding area! With an extensive mangrove lagoon structure stretching to the north , the fishing for tarpon in the 5-to-20 pound range is fantastic. |

Day trips from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Tulum: We have organized some of the top independent guides from Cancun, Cozumel and Ascension Bay for our day trips. These trips are accessible from all the major hotels between Tulum and Cancun. In no case are you more than an hour away from some good flats fishing. If you want the best flats fishing the longer day trip to Ascension Bay is the ticket. |

Los Roques is one of the most famous destination for bonefish in the world. It ranks right along side the worlds elite fly fishing destinations like the Seychelles and Christmas Island. Much easier to get to than the others Los Roques is benefiting from 25 years of National Park status which means bigger and more bonefish now than ever before. |

Rio Chico is in another national Park in Venezuela right on the northern coast a good deal west of Caracas, It is a tarpon destination with thousands of 5-10 pound tarpon that are aggressive and acrobatic. The Tortuga Lodge will be your home and it is the only facility actually in Laguna de Tacarigua National Park so you will be very close to the fishing. Usually we travel no more than 10 minutes from the lodge. |
